IIPGH Holds its Maiden Cyber Security Workshop

The Institute of ICT Professionals, Ghana (IIPGH) organized its first Cyber Security workshop on Sunday 18th February, 2018 for its members with interest in the Cyber Security field.

This is the first of many of such workshops, seminars and training sessions to be organized by the institute to equip its members with the right skills and techniques in the Cyber Security space.

The resource person Mr. Stephen Kofi Asamoah a Cyber Security Expert from the USA and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and the CEO of Cykrypt led the presentation. He shared his in-depth knowledge in penetration testing (Pentest) and took the participants through the techniques of “The Art of Attack and Penetration Testing” in a full day workshop. In a bid to give more attention to Cyber Security which has become a topical issue in Ghana and world at large, IIPGH is collaborating with other organizations to build capacity in the areas of Information and Cyber Security.
